Bitaboh

Terms of service

Last updated 8 September 2026

These are the terms on which Bitaboh is provided. They are written plainly because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

The short version. Your data is yours and you can take it out. Use the software lawfully. It is provided as it is, and it is a tool for keeping records rather than a replacement for an accountant. Either side can end the arrangement.

Who provides this

Bitaboh is operated from Uganda by Martin Kisembo. Where these terms say we, they mean that. Where they say you, they mean the person or business using the software.

Your account

Your data is yours

Everything you record stays yours. We claim no ownership of it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise. We hold it in order to show it back to you and to make the software work, and for nothing else.

You can ask for a copy or for deletion at any time. What is held and for how long is set out on the privacy page.

What you may not do

What this software is, and is not

It is a tool for recording what your business does and working out what the figures mean. It is not an accountant, an auditor or a tax adviser, and nothing it produces is professional advice. The figures it shows are the ones you recorded; a report is only as true as what went into it.

Where the assistant suggests something, it can only ever ask you a question. It never enters a figure and never decides anything. Any judgement remains yours.

Availability

We try to keep it running and we do not promise that it always will be. It depends on other companies, named on the privacy page, and on connections we do not control. There is no guaranteed uptime and no compensation for time it is unavailable.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Exports exist for this reason.

Provided as it is

The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost business, lost data or any indirect loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

Payment

Where a paid plan applies, its price and terms are the ones shown when you take it. Nothing on this page creates a charge on its own.

Changes to these terms

These may change as the software does. A change that materially affects you will be notified by email or on this page before it takes effect, and the date at the top will move.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
